Now the AirPods Pro 2, this absolutely caught me off guard as one of the best purchases of this year, and hands down the best earbuds I’ve used yet. It builds upon the already great AirPods Pro, throws in the H2 chip, and then paired up with Apple’s personalized spatial audio and you get this 3D audio experience that you have to experience in person to believe. Walking down the street with these in, it feels like a personal jam session with your favorite artist. The directionality of its audio is superb, and pair it up with the fact that they’re just 5 grams each – you forget that they’re even there, unlike over-the-ear headphones. I’ve been carrying these with me absolutely everywhere, from grocery shopping to airports. They’re a success for Apple, and it’s not surprising, but now if they only came in different color variations.
