So, the only reason I also bother to carry my Bose QC35s is to use them on board the plane. They connect to the double headphone jacks in planes, which AirPods obviously don't, and the over-ear noise cancellation from these QC35s goes just that step further and does a perfect job cancelling out the non-stop drone of a plane so I can enjoy the in-flight entertainment and movies in peace.
