Next is the AnkerWork B600 Video Bar, who I’m partnering up with for today’s video. And if dual speakers aren’t enough, we also get a 4 microphone array in this video bar, which is pretty solid considering you’ll find a 3 microphone array in current MacBook Pros. These microphones help cancel out background sound and, more importantly, produce audible and clearer voice, so you know we’re actually heard in those pesky all-hand meetings where everyone talks over one another. Also, the inbuilt lights that AnkerWork of course magic sight adaptive lighting isn’t gimmicky, actually. It’s genuinely useful for video. A tap on the right side of the B600 turns the light on and off, and the brightness intensity can be adjusted by dialing the meter next to the lens, along with lighting temperature too. It neatly doubles as a privacy cover when not in use. The all-in-one design is really convenient to use and reduces a whole heap of potential cable clutter in my setup.

If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative to the B600, AnkerWork’s C200 is also a great option with 2K resolution, and this more compact solution retails at only $60 from Amazon. I’ll leave links to all these products down in the description box, by the way.

It’s a super simple point and shoot camera that snaps photos with its decent quality 35mm equivalent lens, and out comes a large 4.2 inch Polaroid print. The companion app lets you add extra filters, play with the exposure and focus modes, and even dabble in light painting. It also comes with adaptable color lens filters for some seriously unique shots you’d want to display on the shelf rather than tuck it away. The retro aesthetic looks like it could belong on the set of Stranger Things. It’s a whole lot of fun to use, especially with friends. And if you're into photography and love to hold and look at physical prints, this is a worthwhile retro gadget at only $150. Retro and tech gadgets don’t seem like they belong in the same sentence, but the Polaroid Now Plus pulls it off pretty well.

Why would I include a USB drive in this list of mind-blowing tech gadgets? Well, this isn’t any ordinary USB. It’s Team Group’s newly released one terabyte C212 Extreme Speed USB. It’s a high capacity USB that’s as fast as an SSD drive and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Straight out of the box, it looks like any other USB drive with a nifty slider that pushes and pulls out a USB 3.2 Type A connector out of the housing. The slider reminds me of the old school SanDisk Glide USBs back in the day, anyone remember those? It’s also super light at only 9 grams and fits right into your pocket. Here’s the impressive, mind-blowing part: it transfers files at 600 megabytes per second, which is faster than some SSD drives out there. It takes only less than 30 seconds to transfer a 10 gigabyte file. This makes it one of the fastest high capacity USB drives on the market right now and is pretty affordable at $120 on Amazon. I use it to quickly transfer video files between computers or share big files with my team or friends, for example. It’s much easier than lugging around an external hard drive or even your laptop.

The next gadget is a really affordable one and a must-have around the house. It’s this rechargeable lighter, and honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t find it sooner because this thing here I got for only nine dollars from Amazon. It works through an electrical charge at the tip which lights up all sorts of things, from candles to stove tops. It lasts for weeks on a single charge, and when it does finally die out, I can charge it through any USB ports. I replaced matches with this slider, and not to mention, it’s a whole lot more eco-friendly too. So that’s a plus, but yeah, for only nine dollars, this is easily a must-have tech gadget.

The new Keychron Q1 keyboard is an iconic mechanical keyboard but with a bit of a twist – literally. On the Q1, we get this programmable knob here, so you can set functions for your favorite apps. So, for example, you could zoom in and out on Photoshop, adjust your screen brightness or volume, scroll through a timeline, or even dim your smart lights from your keyboard. This is the complete aluminum version, so it’s really sturdy but weighs a freaking ton. I’ve also customized the keycaps to blue accents for a personal touch, and of course, they’re amazing and sound amazing to type on. But if you’re serious about customization and getting access to more controls at the tip of your fingers, you’ll need to check out this gadget here, which is the slick Loupedeck Live. It’s a little pocket-sized deck you plug into your computer so you get access to multiple knobs, touch screens, buttons, and controls, and it helps speed up my creative tasks like photo, video, and audio editing. It also connects up to a whole load of apps like Blender, Google Chrome, smart light, Spotify, Twitch – almost anyone can find use out of this small package. I’m not sure I’d pay $549 for the Loupedeck CT, though, which gets you a few more buttons and knobs since the Loupedeck Live is already $269, so it’s not exactly cheap. And also, a heads up, it’s only compatible with Lightroom Classic, not Lightroom CC, which is a big letdown in my opinion.

If you’re anything like me, I was initially like, “Well, what’s the real point of AirTags? Do I really need them to track random items?” I’m not usually one to lose things – or that’s what I like to believe anyway – but these little $29 well-designed buttons are more useful than I thought because it does one thing only, and it does it perfectly: track an item with near perfect precision, along with the Apple OS system. Place it on your keychain, bag, wallet, or even luggage, for example, and you’ll know exactly when your luggage comes out of the airport carousel. So simple, yet so useful. I’ve got mine housed in an Orbitkey leather holder because this thing scratches pretty easily.

It’s probably the most portable and best-looking screwdriver that I’ve ever used. It’s not surprising that it won an iF Design Award. I mean, how good does it look? It’s not all good looks, though; it actually has a high torque motor built in, so it can tackle most home tasks pretty well, an LED light ring for low-light installation, and the USB-C 2000mAh battery handles about 180 screws per charge. It comes with 12 extension rods that snap right into the screwdriver. Then click it to the right, and you’ll screw in; click it to the left, and you’ll screw out. That sounds, uh, worse than I thought. Best of all, though, it’s only $45 and small enough to throw into a backpack.

We all know about smartwatches, and most of us have one, but smart rings are a growing gadget that are super cool to wear, in my opinion. There’s actually quite a few out there, from Motiv Rings to Mavano Rings, but my favorite is the Oura Ring. It is single-handedly the best sleep tracker I’ve used and shows more data than we can process even. It’s the sleekest wearable I’ve come across; it’s been mistaken as a fashion and even engagement ring on my finger plenty of times. At $299, it’s an investment into your health and sleep but a worthwhile one if you’re also someone that loves a good tech gadget to improve your daily life. A big letdown with the Oura Ring, though, is the subscription model which forces us into paying for our own health data. It’s a complicated gadget, so I’ll share a full review that I did on my personal Oura Ring in the description below for those that are interested.

The next tech gadget that I want to share is this $159 Sonos Roam. It’s the ultimate travel companion for music lovers because not only is it a smart speaker, and not only is it portable, and not only is it waterproof, it also sounds damn good for the small size and price. It’s so rugged and portable with its triangular design; you can throw it around and throw it into a backpack without worrying about it. I’ve traveled to a few countries since getting this, and I genuinely think it’s one of the best, if not the best, portable speaker that you can get on the market right now. It’s perfect for hotel sing-alongs or beachside tunes, and my friends and family seem to really appreciate this tech gadget too when I take it out and about.

I couldn’t mention the Sonos Roam without also mentioning the all-new Sonos Ray 2. Soundbars are an easy way to upgrade your TV audio. They’re affordable, they’re stylish, and easy to set up, and this one here is a heck of a sound bar at $279. Between its sound quality and size, it really is perfect for apartment living and has the flexibility to upgrade and co-join other Sonos speakers if you size up later in life. In comparison to your TV’s audio, block muscle movies are going to sound grander than ever, TV dialogue sounds crisper than ever, and it does a great job refracting sound around a small to mid-sized room. I’ll drop a link to my full review of the Sonos Ray for those interested, but yeah, a soundbar is definitely a gadget your ears will appreciate investing into.

Now, before you say, “Damn, $168 for a water pitcher,” of course, this isn’t just a water pitcher on this list. This is another healthy gadget worth getting. This water pitcher smartly tracks your water consumption and habits via the app and filters your water in two ways: through a physical filter and also through this really nifty UV light filtration which LARQ claims to eliminate 99.9% of germs in the water and the pitcher itself. I can personally vouch for it. Coming from a Brita jug, which always formed nasty green algae on the jug after a month – apparently, it’s fine to drink from, but it just doesn’t look nice – the rechargeable UV light on the LARQ has stopped any algae from forming since I got it, and it’s been pretty interesting to see the filtering stats and water consumption stats on the app. If you can’t tell by now, I really like nice looking things, and this pitcher looks and feels high-end. This one here is in the very clean, pure white colorway, and it doesn’t look out of place in my home office or kitchen.
